Resin is an excellent way to add colour and interest to your home. Our Adventures in Resin Art workshop offers a bespoke opportunity for beginners looking to explore using epoxy resin to create beautiful, abstract statement pieces of art.

At our Cotswold studio we will introduce you to applying epoxy resin to canvas, MDF board and other selected substrates. You will work with our non-toxic, odourless BPA-free 1 to 1 epoxy art resin, learning how to measure, mix and pour resin so that you can continue your resin art adventures at home. After a short demonstration by our resin experts you will be hands-on with our resin and pigments, learning how to:
  • Measure, mix and add colour to your resin, ensuring you don't overpower delicate colours
  • Encourage pigment interactions such as lacing and cell formation
  • Use a swipe technique
  • Create a gorgeous dirty pour using bright pigments and silicone
  • Explore opaque, transparent and metallic pigments along with our natural mica powder
  • Achieve a perfect finish, removing any bubbles that appear
  • Use tips, trade secrets and techniques
  • Make use of leftover resin.
Your resin artwork will need to cure overnight and therefore will be posted to you after the workshop. With this in mind, you will be able to visit the Resin8 warehouse where you can view and purchase our vast range of pigments, powders, resins, embellishments, tools and more to take home with you.

Our Adventures in Resin Art workshop will leave with the confidence to create your own resin masterpieces, backed up with the experience, tips and techniques that you will have learnt from our resin experts. We are

As a complete novice this was exactly the course I was looking for.

Very friendly and each step well explained with the result that the beginners efforts were most encouraging.

Each class has a maximum of 6 people so all the personal attention that you could possibly wish for, and as a mere male in an otherwise female class I rate the experience highly and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in this subject.

Very enjoyable day. Took all those fears away about using resin. Looking forward to using all the skills we learnt on furure projects.
Many thanks

I came as a complete beginner and left feeling like I can easily work with resin at home on my own. The workshop was very hands on, easy and fun! It's also a great way to see the different colours and levels of opaque-ness in real life. Only sad part - we didn't work with molds or wood. That's still on my list. ...maybe I'll join another workshop!
Clare was a patient, friendly and knowledgeable coach. Only thing I would've appreciated was a confirmation it's 100% happening in the week leading up to the workshop.

I had the best day at Resin8 , Claire was very giving of her knowledge, time and patience. Nothing was to much trouble and I'm super happy with my pieces which arrived today. Thank you for a great day Resin8.
