Delivery & Returns Information

When shopping with Resin8, we aim to give you easy-to-use, cost-effective delivery solutions. The options you're offered at the checkout stage depend on whether you are a UK or international customer, the weight of the products you've ordered and if there are any hazardous materials in your cart. We want to make it as pain-free as possible so that you get your shiny new treats safely and speedily!

We offer FREE UK DELIVERY* (using Royal Mail Tracked 48) for orders £60 and over to UK mainland addresses (non-flammable goods, less than 4kg in weight).

If you order before 1pm on a weekday, we aim to despatch the same working day. If you order after 1pm on a weekday or at any time over a weekend or public holiday, then we will despatch the next working day. This applies to both UK and international orders.

Royal Mail within the UK delivers Monday to Saturday (except on public holidays). Some of our other couriers, such as DPD and Hermes, will deliver on Saturdays on occasion but we cannot control when and if they do. We offer no Sunday delivery. If you need your parcel to arrive on a Saturday please get in touch with us for a delivery quote.

Some of our products are classed as hazardous for shipping and therefore need to be sent by courier (equipped to deal with leaks and spillages). If a pink box appears at checkout it means you have selected something to buy that cannot be shipped to you via normal means. Please get in touch with us for an accurate shipping quote.

Jacquard alcohol inks are categorised as flammable and have transport implications. These products can only come by courier within the UK - it is against the law for them to be sent in the post! If you have one of these products in your cart you will only be able to have your order delivered by UK courier. If you aren't in the UK a message will appear in your cart telling you that we are unable to ship the product to your location.

We are now able to ship hazardous goods via Fedex (with a £35 surcharge per parcel). If you would like to buy hazardous goods from a country outside the UK, please get in touch for an accurate shipping quote.

Deliveries to non-EU countries will have VAT deducted automatically at checkout. Deliveries to EU countries will have VAT added, unless you add your company name and VAT number at checkout.

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the maximum designated time, according to the delivery option you selected at checkout, then please do contact us and we will be glad to help. Take a look at the notes below to see if one of them applies to you before you contact us:

Royal Mail parcels - If your parcel was sent by Royal Mail and you received a card to say that your item was delivered and you cannot find it, please check before contacting us in your safe places or with your neighbours. The parcel may also be held at your local post office for you to collect.

If your parcel cannot be delivered, and you haven't provided a "safe place" or neighbour's address, the parcel will be returned to the local post office for safekeeping and you will receive a red ‘Something for you’ card. You will need to get in touch with Royal Mail to arrange a re-delivery or collect it from the post office.

If an item cannot be delivered (due to an incorrect address being given or the goods being refused at the address given) the goods will be returned to Resin8. You will have to pay again for delivery.

We cannot be held responsible for delayed post due to any postal strikes which may occur.

UK couriers - Please note that couriers do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

If you have been left a ‘we missed you’ card whilst you were out, then you will be given an option to arrange re-delivery via phone or app. If you have been left a card saying that your parcel has been delivered and you cannot find it, please check before contacting us in your safe places or with your neighbours.

If an item cannot be delivered by courier (due to an incorrect address being given or the goods being refused at the address given) the goods will be returned to Resin8. You will have to pay again for delivery.

International delivery - If you have been left a ‘we missed you’ card whilst you were out, then you will be given an option to arrange re-delivery via phone or app. If you have been left a card saying that your parcel has been delivered and you cannot find it, please check before contacting us in your safe places or with your neighbours.

If an item cannot be delivered by courier (due to an incorrect address being given or the goods being refused at the address given) the goods will be returned to Resin8. You will have to pay again for delivery.

Items will only be considered lost in transit if they have not arrived after 15 working days.

Returns Process

You can return or exchange unwanted items up to 14 days after the date you receive the products. Items must:

We do not offer free returns, unless the item is faulty (in which case we will refund any postage paid).

 

How to return an unwanted item to us:

  1. Use the original packaging and box to return the unwanted products to us at the below address. You are responsible for ensuring that the product is not damaged on its return journey. Our returns address is: Resin8 Returns, Unit B1 Withytree Farm, Broadway Road, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, GL54 5NT, United Kingdom
  2. Remember to include your order number, name, email address & reason for the return. 
  3. Use your local Post Office (find your nearest branch here) or courier to return the parcel to us, making sure you've removed the original address label 
  4. Please ensure you ask for proof of postage and retain this as it provides your unique tracking number and cost of postage
  5. You will be responsible for the shipping costs, unless the item is faulty, in which case we will need to see your proof of postage in order to provide a postage refund.
  6. You'll receive an email to confirm when we have received the item at our studio, after which your refund will appear in your account within 5 days. The whole process shouldn't take longer than 14 days from the day that you returned the item back to us. 
  7. If you do not include your name, order number and contact details there will be a delay in processing your return, while we try and identify you!
 

What to do if an item you have received is faulty: 

Before contacting us, take a look at our FAQs page for common issues (such as crystallised resin, thick pigments, etc). You can also find useful advice on specific product pages, as well as on our social media channels.

If you're still having problems with an item you've bought please contact us within 5 days of receipt, quoting your name, order number, item code and a reason for the fault. 

If your item develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, we’ll give an exchange or refund with proof of purchase. After 30 days, we'll repair or replace the product in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
