Fully cleaned (and even food-safe) Atlantic Mussel Shells for making resin seascape and mixed media masterpieces. Sourced from the UK, these 6cm long mussels are lightweight and make excellent receptacles for coloured epoxy resin. Use them on existing resin seascape art for 3D effects, or fill with epoxy resin, more shells and glitter to use as fridge magnets.

Top Tip: Attach to your artwork surface, textiles and ceramics with Araldite glue or a hot glue gun.

Top Tip: With larger shells you have the option of creating a beach scene within the shell itself. Start with a layer of opaque blue resin, followed by transparent blue or green, add white opaque for frothing detail and lacing, and finish your piece with texture sand, rocks, mermaid pearls and flakes. (Remember you will have to wait for each layer of resin to dry before adding the next so may take a few days to create this project but it will be worth it!)
