A totally eco-friendly cutter for making amazing shapes from polymer clay. Made from bio-based degradable resin, these cutters are created by us and, thanks to the nature of the PolyTerra PLA we use, they are strong and durable and allow for many years of use.
This Polymer Clay Cutter: Embossed Deco Scallop Fan is perfect for statement earrings. The cutter also includes embossed lines for detailing.
- Designed for polymer clay
- Our polymer clay cutters are 3D printed by Resin8® - as such they may have small bumps and imperfections that can easily be removed with a nail file or sanding pad
- Long-lasting and lightweight to use
- Clean with a baby soft toothbrush
- If you find you need to wash the cutter use COLD water but do not leave to soak
- Avoid using any harsh chemicals on the surface as this may damage your roller
The best way to use our cutters is to start off with a clean clay tile, roll your polymer clay slab out to the desired depth (our depth guides may come in handy) and then place the cutter (cutting edge down) on the clay.
Apply even and consistent pressure with your hands, or use a cutter pusher, to make the shape.
For intricate shapes you may like to use our Poly Prime powder on the cutter before use to help release it from the clay cleanly.

PLA (polylactic acid) is an innovative new form of bio-based resin. Made from fermenting corn, extracting sugar molecules and binding with a biocompound, if the conditions are right (i.e. in your compost heap), these polymer clay cutters will degrade almost completely after 45 days! Obvs, if you keep them indoors and don't get them overly wet you'll be able to use them for years to come.
