Our naturally coated Dusty Blue Mica Flake adds a beautiful & eco-friendly lustre to your artwork. Try crumbling over JESMONITE® creations for all the terrazzo feels, sprinkling onto polymer clay for light-reflective goodness and adding to resin artwork and jewellery for lavish texture.

Resin8® Mica Flakes are:

  • 100% ethically sourced - we do not buy from mines who exploit children as workers
  • 100% pure colour - none of our mica powder contains "fillers"
  • 100% vegetarian friendly - you won't find any crushed beetles in our mica flakes!
  • 100% cruelty-free - our mica flakes have never been, and will never be, tested on animals
  • 100% natural - made from muscovite flakes coated with ultramarines, iron oxides and natural dyes

Used for decorative purposes since 10,000BC, mica is a silicate mineral and we're proud to say that our flakes are ethically-sourced and cruelty-free. These lustrous flakes can be used in all Resin8® resins as well as JESMONITE® to provide shimmering colours and effects. Use them on the surface of polymer clay and even in candle & card-making for stunning textural additions.

Top Tip: These flakes can be mixed to create your own unique blends, perfect for a mixed media project or a new handmade card design.

Try adding them to JESMONITE® for terrazzo effects or sprinkling on the surface of polymer clay, baking and then adding a topcoat of COAT-IT™ resin.
