Whether you have a fresh special flower that you just can't bear to be without forever, or you are keen to learn how to preserve flowers and leaves forever in crystal clear resin, this class is for you. Begin our Flower Preservation Masterclass as a novice and leave as a floral resin expert.
In this detailed class we will cover multiple ways of preserving flowers, from using a traditional press, microwave flower drying techniques and not to mention our best-selling DRY-IT™ silica sand.
After mastering the preservation techniques, we will learn together how to cast our dried flowers into COAT-IT™ epoxy resin so that they last a lifetime. Using our silver- and gold-plated jewellery bezels and silicone moulds, we will create 2 beautiful floral pendants and 2 terrarium style necklaces.
This workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate level resin craftspeople - we will cover the basics, and the more advanced techniques of preserving flowers. The skills learnt on this workshop are transferrable to working with bigger moulds and our best-selling FILL-IT™ casting resin..
You do not need to provide your own flowers, but feel free to if you have any that you would like advice about. Please note - we will be casting tiny flowers and leaves into resin. Wedding bouquets and large rose heads can be discussed but are not suitable for using on this class.
Spend the best part of the morning with lovely Lou (via Zoom) and finish feeling confident to carry on your epoxy resin jewellery making unguided.
